Scooter Builder — Privacy Policy

Scooter Builder Pro ("the app") is provided by CORE Distribution Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

Data we access

When a merchant installs the app, with their authorisation we access:

  • Products and collections — to display them in the builder and check compatibility.
  • Orders — only order line items and totals, to calculate the revenue generated by the builder. We identify builder lines by a scooter_builder line-item property.

Data we store

  • The merchant's store domain and app configuration (component mapping, rules, settings).
  • A cached copy of builder-relevant product data (titles, prices, images, barcodes, stock).
  • Aggregate daily totals per store: number of builds, add-to-carts, orders, and revenue. We do not store individual orders, customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details.
  • Builder product images, including images contributed by merchants, indexed by product barcode and shared across merchant stores that stock the same product.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect or store shopper personal data. We do not sell data to third parties.

Sub-processors

  • Cloudflare (application hosting and data storage).
  • Shopify (platform and billing).

Data retention and deletion

On uninstall, the merchant's access token is revoked and configuration is removed. We honour Shopify's GDPR webhooks (customers/redact, shop/redact, customers/data_request); because we store no shopper personal data, redaction requests have no personal data to erase. A merchant may request deletion of their stored configuration and aggregates at any time.

WHEN WILL MY PRE-ORDER ARRIVE?

Your CORE pre-order will be shipped on or around its release date, with delivery usually within 1–2 business days once dispatched. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is on the way.*

Please note: pre-order dates may shift. Shipments sometimes arrive earlier or a few weeks later than expected. All stock arrives by boat, and factors such as global shipping delays, pandemic disruptions, and Brexit regulations can affect timing. We’ll share any updates here as soon as we have them.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

If you’d like to make changes or cancel your pre-order, please get in touch with our customer support team. We’ll do our best to assist, provided your order hasn’t already been prepared for dispatch.

WHAT IF MY ORDER CONTAINS IN-STOCK ITEMS?

If your order includes both in-stock products and pre-orders, your full order will usually ship once the final pre-order item has arrived. If you’d prefer to receive the available items sooner, please contact our support team to arrange split shipping.
