Our very own CORE Pro Team Rider, Jack 'HALFBARZ' Ward, made waves this weekend at the Nordic Scoot Championships Qualifier held in Tjelta, Norway at the Scooter Hut Arena. Demonstrating his exceptional skills and unwavering determination, Ward secured an impressive 3rd place, showcasing a thrilling performance that left the audience in awe.
Jack's standout performance included a series of impressive manoeuvres that displayed his technical finesse and control. Kicking off with an alley-oop 360 inward gap from the spine to the box landing, he set the pace for an exhilarating run. Followed by an invert on the vert wall and a corked 720 over the box, Ward's seamless transitions and unique combinations, like the downside heelwhip to superman air and the front flair gap, highlighted his mastery of the scooter. Watch his run below:
The competition, although relatively small with 11 pro competitors, was very well-organised and managed, maintaining an exciting and extremely high-level of riding throughout. Morgan Jones and Tom Nieb claimed the 1st and 2nd positions, adding to the atmosphere and intensity of the event.
Jack Ward's remarkable score of 86.00 secured his qualification for the finals scheduled for November 18th at the Urban Street Zone in Brande, Denmark. As the anticipation builds for the upcoming showdown, Jack Ward's performance in the Nordic Scoot Championships Qualifier serves as a testament to his exceptional talent and commitment to the sport.
Stay tuned for more updates as Jack Ward prepares to take on the challenge in the finals, representing our team with passion and skill on the international stage.
