Hey there, scooter enthusiasts! We've got some exciting news to share with you about the recent Scoot GB Northern Qualifier at Junction 4 Skatepark.
In a high-stakes competition featuring top-notch talent from across the region, our pro riders Jamie Hull and Jack Ward absolutely smashed it. We're thrilled to announce that Jamie snagged the top spot, securing 1st place with a jaw-dropping score of 92.67. Meanwhile, Jack Ward showed his incredible skills by landing in 4th place with an impressive score of 87.33. The applause is well-deserved for these two exceptional athletes who have now officially secured their place at the UK Champs at Adrenaline Alley on the 23rd and 24th of September.
Both Jamie and Jack delivered flawless runs that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Seriously, we couldn't be prouder of our riders for their incredible performances. Let's take a moment to appreciate some of the standout moments from their runs.
Jamie Hull blew everyones minds with his backflip barspin over the step-up to box gap, immediately followed by an absolutely massive front flair gap. It was a jaw-dropping sequence that showcased not only his technical prowess but also his fearless attitude.
Meanwhile, Jack Ward threw down the gauntlet with his mind-boggling "Nothing Summer Flip to Tailwhip." The precision and control required for a trick like this are off the charts, and Jack executed it flawlessly. When asked how he does this trick, he quoted "The cutouts on my signature CORE SL2 deck really make grab tricks like this much easier as I have something to grab and throw back to myself!"
But the action doesn't end there. Our team rider Brandon Tang put on an incredible, flawless run that had the crowd cheering. Despite his impressive performance, he narrowly missed out on qualifying due to the fierce competition. Still, we're immensely proud of Brandon for his dedication and skill on the scooter.
Let's not forget to give a massive shoutout to the other talented riders who graced the competition. Jayden Sharman secured 2nd place, and James Gellatly took home 3rd place. It's clear that the Northern Qualifier at Junction 4 Skatepark was a hot-bed of talent, and every rider deserves applause for their dedication and commitment.
As we look forward to the UK Champs at Adrenaline Alley, we can't help but feel the excitement building. Jamie Hull and Jack Ward have shown us what they're made of, and we have no doubt they'll represent us with style and skill at the upcoming event.
So, mark your calendars for the 23rd and 24th of September because the UK Champs at Adrenaline Alley are going to be epic! It's a chance to witness the best of British scootering talent in action, and you won't want to miss it.
